I have missed you! Sending you season’s greetings and my Q4 update. One thing I learned about myself in 2020 is how much I like hugs and how much I have been missing them!

As I reflect on key accomplishments in 2020 and key learning that I want to bring forward to 2021, the following emerged on paper (actually, on-screen). I would like to share with you and invite your comments. Don’t miss my brand-new short video below!

Key accomplishments:

  • Book: I wrote a book (more to come later)! The title is “Leadership Unlocked: Unleash the Power of Your Body for Impact and Fulfillment” and is coming soon in Feb 2021!

  • Client: Impactful client work in Ohio, Chicago, New York, Houston, California, China, India, Singapore, and London. Two of my client coaching stories have been featured by ICF Global (International Coaching Federation), one is corporate leadership coaching in an article, and the other is executive transition coaching in a short video.

  • Work: Continued focus on executive and team coaching on leadership and strategy; expanded corporate group coaching (virtual) to help clients scale coaching impact. Just released a short video on working with me – check out these 3 amazing clients I have had the honor to serve!

  • Family: I am grateful for the family dinners at home and regular video calls with my parents in China (Dad 87 and Mom 86). For the first time in 20 years, I was able to “see” (on-screen) my parents and all my siblings in China at the same time which has been difficult due to my sister’s health condition and our dispersed locations.

Key learning:

  • See every challenge as an opportunity. Be flexible and adaptive. Dance in the moment.

  • Stay highly strategic. The discipline of saying “no”. The question I always ask myself is “Will this allow me to make my highest contributions?”

  • Serve, serve, and serve. It is always about the client, their desired outcome, and the impact we can create together.

  • Intention for 2021: There is a limit to how many clients I can directly serve. I am setting an intention for 2021 to influence a broader audience as a thought leader on Mind-Body integrative leadership. Releasing the new book is a start!

What are your key accomplishments and key learning in 2020? What intention would you like to set for 2021?

I would love to hear from you. Wishing you and your family a fantastic holiday season, and I look forward to the day I can give you a big hug!
